SUMMER READING PHOTO CHALLENGE: FAMILY EDITION, PART TWO!

This adorable family is “picture perfect” with three girls and three boys-and all readers (or soon to be readers)! Are they the sweetest? The oldest is Isaac, and he is lost in the wit of Lawn Boy, a terrific read by Gary Paulsen. On the bottom row  we have twins, Jacob and Anna, who are showing off their individual tastes with Jacob reading the perennial favorite and very funny Ribsy by Beverly Cleary, and Anna reading The Zach & Zoe Mysteries: The Half-Court Hero by Mike Lupica. Zach and Zoe are 8 year old twins (hmmm) and sports fans who solve mysteries and Mike Lupica has written another captivating series to appeal to a younger audience. And in the upper right corner are the other three members of the family: Luke, Genevieve and Cecelia. Luke, being the wonderful big brother that he is, is reading one of my favorite picture books to his sisters: The Day The Crayons Quit by Drew Daywalt and Oliver Jeffers. Genevieve and Cecelia are beginning 4K in August and I can’t wait to get to know them. I know they will be great readers like their siblings! See all of you at the pizza party! Happy Reading!
