Birthdays and Goodbyes

Ryan is holding birthday books from both him and his brother, Alex. Ah! I was too late to get Alex’s photo as he graduated last week. I went looking for him a few days ago and then I remembered; Alex was gone and is moving on to high school in the fall. I will miss him, and all the 8th graders who have been such an important part of our St. Eugene family. But we still have Ryan who is doing the job for both brothers and whom we will still have around for two more years, thank goodness. Ryan donated Garfield As Himself  by Jim Davis. Ryan is a funny guy and loves humorous books like Garfield. Alex donated Theodore Boone, Kid Lawyer by John Grisham. This is the first book in an excellent mystery series.  So Happy Birthday to Alex and Ryan and thanks for all the library support over the years!
